I'm going to have to check further on that serial number question becasue if you had to get an new barrel or if your ML'er has interchangeable barrels you would not get the same serial number but a new one. If you had to register your rifle you have to re-register every barrel. There are no serial numbers written on the box the CVA rifles come in. On mine they are blank. CVA just mentioned to me that the 'G' don't keep track of them. I personally don't think that the ATF keeps track of ML'ers.. I will try and get an answer from ATF.
