I just installed sonar x1 producer on my newly built pc. I did the complete install on the c drive which is a crucial m4 128 gb ssd. My question is how to setup sonar to optimally run with my three hard drives. I know that drive c should be OS, programs, vst dll. The other drives i have are drive d: a WD caviar black 1tb for projects and drive e: for sample libraries which is another WD caviar black 1tb.

Thanks for the help.you shouldn't have audio data due to sonar unless you use the default audio folder created by sonar inslallation, so go to pref and change the audio path, and by the way, by default you have an audio folder created by project so cool anyway. Others audio data are only coming from Dimension, Beastcape and convolutions wav for the perfect space.those can be moved (no need to stress for perfect space as it's not big file streaming ) For others plugins like session drummer and the ijsntruments, it's marginal, data streaming is low.the ssd will smile running this i have an intel 320 series here and it's cooling.
